Creating & Assigning Tasks

Accessing the Task Management System

AgentBoard's task management system helps you stay organized and on top of your work:

  • Navigate to the Tasks section from the sidebar menu
  • The default view shows your active tasks
  • You can also access tasks directly from the dashboard's "Upcoming Tasks" widget
  • Tasks can be created from multiple places within the platform

Creating a New Task

To create a new task:

  1. On the Tasks page, click the + Add Task button
  2. In the task creation form, enter the following details:
    • Title: A clear, descriptive name for the task (required)
    • Description: Details about what needs to be done
    • Due Date: When the task needs to be completed (required)
    • Priority: Low, Medium, High, or Urgent
    • Related Player: Link the task to a specific player (optional)
    • Category: Type of task (e.g., Call, Meeting, Review, etc.)
  3. Click Create Task to save

Tasks with approaching due dates will appear in your dashboard's "Upcoming Tasks" widget and will trigger reminder notifications.

Creating Tasks from Player Profiles

You can also create tasks directly from a player's profile:

  1. Navigate to a player's details page
  2. Click on the Tasks tab
  3. Click + Add Task
  4. The task form will appear with the player already selected
  5. Fill in the remaining details and click Create Task

This method ensures the task is automatically linked to the player, making it easy to track all activities related to a specific player.

Assigning Tasks to Team Members

If you're working with a team, you can assign tasks to specific team members:

  1. When creating a task, look for the Assign To field
  2. Click on the dropdown menu
  3. Select the team member you want to assign the task to
  4. The assigned user will receive a notification about the new task
  5. You can reassign tasks at any time by editing them

Task Reminders

Stay on top of your tasks with automated reminders:

  • By default, you'll receive a reminder 24 hours before a task is due
  • You can customize reminders when creating or editing a task
  • To add a custom reminder, click Add Reminder and select when you want to be reminded
  • You can set multiple reminders for important tasks
  • Reminders appear as notifications in the platform and can also be sent via email
