Using the Task Pipeline

Understanding the Task Pipeline View

The Task Pipeline provides a visual way to manage your tasks by status:

  • Navigate to Tasks in the sidebar menu, then click the Pipeline tab
  • Tasks are organized in columns based on their current status
  • The default columns are: To Do, In Progress, Waiting, and Done
  • Each task appears as a card with key information displayed
  • You can see task title, due date, priority, and related player at a glance

Moving Tasks Between Stages

As you work on tasks, you can easily move them between stages:

  1. Locate the task card you want to move
  2. Click the Move button on the task card
  3. A dropdown menu will appear showing available destination stages
  4. Select the stage you want to move the task to
  5. The task card will immediately move to the selected stage

Moving a task to the "Done" column will automatically mark it as completed and update its completion date.

Viewing Task Details

You can view and edit task details directly from the pipeline view:

  1. Click on any task card to expand and view its full details
  2. In the expanded view, you can see:
    • Complete task description
    • All task metadata (priority, category, etc.)
    • Related player information (if applicable)
    • Task history and activity log
  3. Click Edit to modify any task details
  4. Click Add Note to append a comment to the task

Filtering the Task Pipeline

You can filter the tasks shown in the pipeline view:

  • Click the Filter button at the top of the pipeline view
  • Apply filters such as:
    • Due date range
    • Priority level
    • Related player
    • Task category
  • Only tasks matching your criteria will be displayed
  • Click Clear Filters to reset and show all tasks

Task Pipeline Customization

You can customize the task pipeline to match your workflow:

  1. Click the Settings icon at the top of the pipeline view
  2. Under Column Settings, you can:
    • Rename existing columns to match your terminology
    • Add new columns for additional stages in your workflow
    • Change the order of columns by dragging them
    • Choose column colors for visual organization
  3. Your custom pipeline layout will be saved automatically
