Google Sign-In Integration

Benefits of Google Sign-In

AgentBoard offers Google Sign-In as a convenient and secure authentication option:

  • Sign in with a single click using your Google account
  • No need to remember another password
  • Enhanced security through Google's protection measures
  • Faster login experience without typing credentials
  • Seamless access across devices where you're signed into Google

Setting Up Google Sign-In for a New Account

If you're creating a new AgentBoard account:

  1. Go to the AgentBoard login page
  2. Click the Sign up button
  3. On the registration page, click the Continue with Google button
  4. A Google sign-in window will appear
  5. Select your Google account or enter your Google credentials
  6. Review and accept the permissions requested by AgentBoard
  7. Complete any additional registration information required
  8. Your account will be created and linked to your Google account

When you sign up with Google, your name and email from your Google account will be automatically added to your AgentBoard profile.

Connecting Google to an Existing Account

If you already have an AgentBoard account and want to add Google Sign-In:

  1. Log in to your existing AgentBoard account using your email and password
  2. Click your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner
  3. Select My Profile from the dropdown menu
  4. Navigate to the Security tab
  5. Find the Connected Accounts section
  6. Click Connect next to the Google option
  7. A Google sign-in window will appear
  8. Select your Google account and confirm the connection
  9. Your AgentBoard account is now linked to your Google account

Signing In with Google

Once your account is linked, you can sign in easily with Google:

  1. Go to the AgentBoard login page
  2. Click the Continue with Google button
  3. If you're already signed into Google on your device, you may be signed in automatically
  4. If not, select your Google account from the list or sign in to Google
  5. You'll be immediately logged in to your AgentBoard account

You can still sign in with your email and password even after connecting your Google account.

Managing Connected Google Accounts

You can manage or remove your connected Google account:

  1. Go to your profile's Security tab
  2. Find the Connected Accounts section
  3. For your connected Google account, you can:
    • View which Google account is connected
    • View when the connection was established
    • Click Disconnect to remove the connection
  4. If you disconnect Google, you'll need to use your email and password to sign in
  5. You can reconnect a Google account at any time

If you've only ever signed in with Google and never set a password, be sure to set a password before disconnecting Google, or you may lose access to your account.

Troubleshooting Google Sign-In

If you're having issues with Google Sign-In:

  • Email Already in Use: If you get an error that your email is already registered, it means you have an existing AgentBoard account with that email. Sign in with your password and then connect your Google account.
  • Wrong Google Account: If you're signed in with the wrong Google account, sign out of Google completely before trying again.
  • Connection Issues: If the Google window doesn't appear or closes unexpectedly, try disabling browser extensions, clearing cookies, or using a different browser.
  • Permissions Denied: If you denied permissions during the connection process, you'll need to try again and allow the required permissions.
