Filtering & Sorting Players
Using the Filter Panel
The Players page includes powerful filtering options to help you find specific players quickly:
- Click the Filter & Sort button at the top of the Players page
- The filter panel will expand, showing all available filtering options
- Apply filters by selecting criteria from the different categories
- As you select filters, the player list will update in real-time
- Click Apply Filters to finalize or Clear All to reset
Available Filter Options
You can filter players by the following criteria:
Basic Filters
- Position (Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfielder, etc.)
- Age Range (slider or min/max inputs)
- Nationality
- Contract Status
Advanced Filters
- Salary Range
- Pipeline Stage
- Current Club
- Date Added (last week, month, etc.)
Sorting Players
In addition to filtering, you can sort your player list in various ways:
- In the Filter & Sort panel, select the Sort By dropdown
- Choose a sorting option:
- Name (A-Z or Z-A)
- Age (youngest to oldest or oldest to youngest)
- Date Added (newest first or oldest first)
- Salary (highest to lowest or lowest to highest)
- Click the sort direction icon to toggle between ascending and descending order
You can also sort directly from the table headers by clicking on the column name. Click once for ascending order and again for descending order.
Saving Filter Presets
If you frequently use certain filter combinations, you can save them as presets:
- Apply your desired filters and sort settings
- Click Save Preset at the bottom of the filter panel
- Enter a name for your preset (e.g., "Young Defenders" or "Available Strikers")
- To use a saved preset, click My Presets and select from the list
